Volume Zero is a comprehensive design-centric platform that aspires to inspire designers, architects, design students, professionals, thinkers, innovators and design enthusiasts. Through our thoughtful curation of design concepts, ideas and exhibition of the best architectural projects from across the globe, we rekindle creativity among designers. Founded in 2015, our aim at Volume Zero is to encourage, inspire and empower creative professionals and students in the field of architecture and design.

Volume Zero Competitions is an initiative by Volume Zero Architecture and Design Magazine that first started in 2017. Under this initiative, we have come up with New-Age International Architecture Competitions that create impactful architecture focussing on innovation, creativity, sustainability, functionality and spatial understanding, architectural intelligence and out-of-the-box thinking. These challenging competitions address critical problems plaguing the contemporary world, such as small-scale architecture, affordable housing, humanitarian architecture, global warming, and social-community-centric architecture, including public spaces to inspire the design community.

Volume Zero Competitions are curated with contemporary industry-relevant topics and critiqued by subject experts that constitute the jury. Over the years, we have successfully conducted 22 competitions with over 50 thousand designers participating in them.
After years of being a trustworthy platform for exclusive design competitions, we have created a reliable space for experienced architects, students and young professionals, alike. Furthermore, the intriguing and stimulating architecture competitions give young minds, and seasoned professionals a platform to express and enhance their creative design skills.

Combined with both Volume Zero Competitions and Volume Zero Magazine, our mission has been to encourage and enable designers to grow academically and professionally by expanding boundaries.
